PLASTIC

A plastic material is any of a wide range of synthetic or semi-synthetic organic solids that are moldable. Plastics are typically organic polymers of high molecular mass, but they often contain other substances. They are usually synthetic, most commonly derived from petrochemicals, but many are partially natural. Plastic is also one form of polymer consisting of long chains or series of smaller molecules known as monomers. Monomer is composed of atoms which are usually taken from natural or organic ingredients and are often classified as petrochemicals. To make plastics, chemists and chemical engineers must do the following on an industrial scale:
  1. Prepare raw materials and monomers.
  2. Carry out polymerization reactions.
  3. Process the polymers into final polymer resins.
  4. Produce finished products.
First, they must start with various raw materials that make up the monomers. Next, the monomers carry out polymerization reactions in large polymerization plants. Finally, the polymer resins are processed into final plastic products. Generally, they are heated, molded and allowed to cool. There are several processes involved in this stage, depending upon the type of product.
Positive effect of plastic are Polyethylene Terephthalate, Commonly used for plastic bottles clear / transparent as mineral water bottles, juice bottles, and almost all other bottled beverages. High Density Polyethylene, Generally used for white milk bottle , the former gallons of drinking water, and folding chairs. Polyvinyl Chloride,Is a type of plastic that is commonly used for plastic wrap (cling wrap) and other beverage bottles . Low Density Polyethylene,This type of plastic heat resistant up to a temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. Polypropylene, Is the best option for plastic materials especially related to food and drink, such as a place to store food, bottled drinks and most importantly milk bottles for babies. Polystyrene, This type of material is generally used as an ingredient for food places Styrofoam.  Polycarbonate,Found in food and beverage containers, such as the sports drink bottles, computers, electronics, and other plastic
Negative effect of plastic are polyethylene terephthalate, can cause cancer. High Density Polyethylene,  disposable and not recommended for reapead use . Polyvinyl Chloride, Is a type of plastic that is difficult to recycle. Low Density Polyethylene, relatively difficult to be destroyed. Polystyrene, Dangerous to the health of the brain and nervous system, interfering with the female hormone estrogen which can cause fertility problems and growth. Polycarbonate,Bisphenol-A may issue to the foods and beverages that may pervert the system of hormones, chromosomes, sperm expenditure reduction, and change the function of the body imuniti .
